So what is a Friends of the Library Group?
This is a volunteer group made up of people like you that provides financial and moral support to the John C. Fremont Library through annual membership fees and fundraisers. In partnership with enthusiastic support from the community, the Friends organize, plan, and hold various local fund raisers throughout the year such as book sales, community dinners, hosting the Pioneer Day booth, and other public events that help raise money for and awareness of the importance of the library to our community. All the money raised by this group will be used to directly help the John C. Fremont Library by funding various library programs such as the Summer Reading, Homebound and Teen Programs, as well as a future expansion and/or building projects for our rapidly growing library.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR
GENEROUS SUPPORT!!

I recently visited your library, I live close to Austin, Texas. You have a very nice library and I was glad to see all the activities that are ongoing. I have been a volunteer in my hometown, and love reading to the mentally challenged. I have also played music here for them. It is so refreshing to be involved with the library. My niece Linda Witte is the president of the board there also. Keep up the good work! Blessings, Margie
